Transient Home

Transient Home is an experimental documentary presented as an immersive video installation.

This project explores the experience of continual displacement shared by many young people today, reflecting the semi-nomadic lifestyles common in cities worldwide. Through voice interviews, volumetric 3D capture, and installation, the work examines how frequent relocation reshapes one’s sense of home.

The repeated act of moving blurs the line between home and placelessness. When personal spaces become detached from personal belongings, places lose their permanence, no longer providing a sense of identity or belonging.
